The Corporate Accountant coordinates the monthly close process and assembly of financial reporting package for management. The Senior Corporate Accountant is also responsible for the quarterly preparation of the Legal Entity consolidation of Chanel Inc. and related reporting as well as coordinating the interim and year-end external financial statement audit.
Responsible for preparation of semi-annual/annual financial statements and preparation of the quarterly consolidation of Chanel, Inc. in accordance with IFRS
Assist in preparation of footnotes and supporting documentation
Coordination of the annual financial audit of Chanel, Inc. and subsidiaries as key contact to external audit firm
Complete required quarterly reporting requirements (HFM) of parent company
Identify new/upcoming IFRS accounting standards affecting the Company and coordinate with Global team to determine overall impact
Manage implementation of upcoming IFRS accounting standards IFRS 15 – Revenue Recognition and IFRS 16 – Leases to ensure compliance
